Report: EJ Nduka Currently A Free Agent, WWE Has Expressed Some Interest

He debuted in MLW the next month, and he has been a featured talent throughout his time with the company. Nduka and Calvin Tankman are currently the reigning MLW World Tag Team Champions, and they will defend the titles against he Samoan Swat Team (Lance Anoa’i & Juicy Finau) at MLW Blood & Thunder on January 7.

Per Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, who has spoken with Nduka and MLW, he is already a free agent, and he has been since January 1. Sapp noted that Nduka is honoring his upcoming date at MLW Blood & Thunder, but there has been no word on any potential extension talks. Nduka and Tankman are scheduled to defend the MLW Tag Team Championships against The Samoan Swat Team (Lance Anoa’i & Juicy Finau)

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that WWE has “expressed some interest” in bringing Nduka back. He noted that multiple promotions are interested in the powerhouse, who got “rave reviews” from MLW management. Additionally, he stated that Nduka’s name has “come up” in AEW and Japan.

Nduka previously played college football, and he has participated in bodybuilding competitions.
